This crew is great, actually enjoyed buying from them. We had a bunch of good laughs, even got the finance guy to laugh. Lance our salesman was kind and straight forward. I even got the spare key sent to me in the mail! After working with tons of dealers, these guys are the best and well worth the 1 hour drive!

I just had the best car-buying experience in 50 years of buying both new and used vehicles.I am now driving a $37,000 car that I paid roughly $20,000 for. What I bought is a 2017 Ford Taurus Limited with every amenity and gizmo imaginable, including heated and cooled leather seats, a backup camera, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, adjustable sunroof, digital and analog speedometer and much, much more. I also got an owner’s manual that looks unread and untouched in its own original carrying case.All of this was possible because of one, miracle-working salesman named Lance Shetrompf at University Mitsubishi in Davie, FL.Lance got me approved for financing when I had been rejected elsewhere. That’s because he’s clever, resourceful and perseverant. He can’t actually work miracles, but he comes as close as any salesman I’ve ever met.As long as you’re halfway reasonable, Lance can put you in the car of your dreams. Unlike car purchases you may have made in the past, you won’t drive away with second thoughts or recriminations. You’ll drive away happy and overjoyed.Lance knows the car business and how to work the system. He is all business and cuts to the chase, which means he won’t waste your time.And don’t think you’re locked into a Mitsubishi by going to a dealership with that brand in its name. The lot has 150 used vehicles for you to choose from and Lance has access to literally hundreds more. Enough makes and models to make your head spin.A few days earlier, I had a very bad experience at an AutoNation dealership in Margate. The salesman promised me the moon and the sun, and the finance manager said, in effect, “Get the hell out of here.” Lance washed all that away and put me in the same car, although newer and nicer and far less expensive, that the AutoNation dealership had rejected me on.One word of warning: If you’re in the market for a car, go see Lance at University Mitsubishi as soon as possible because Lance told me he plans to move up North as soon as his college-attending son graduates. Believe me, you won’t find another salesman like him. I never have.
